Malaysia has fairly limited resources of feldspar.  The available resources are located mainly in the states of Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Johore, Kedah, Pahang and Kelantan.  They are four types of feldspar but only potassium and sodium feldspar have economic interest. Production in 2007 increased to 358,584 tonnes from 142,358 tonnes produced in 2006.

Feldspar processing line

In feldspar processing line, crushing and grinding is essential process. In crshing process, feldspar is crushed into required size with the help stone crusher, use electric magnetic separator to remove electromagnetic mineral. Then Non-magnetic minerals quartz and feldspar go into the grinding process. In this process, ball mill and raymond mill is the most used grinding machines. Raw materials through out the grinding process is the feldspar powder.
